Driver & Fleet Partner Agreement

This Agreement applies to self-employed Drivers and Fleet Owners ('Partners') accepting work through DriveGet. Partners are independent contractors, not employees or workers of DriveGet Ltd.

1. Status

You confirm you are self-employed for tax purposes, responsible for your own income tax, National Insurance, and VAT registration where thresholds apply. DriveGet will provide a self-billing invoice for each completed job. You may accept, decline, or ignore any job offer at your sole discretion.

2. Onboarding & verification

  • Provide a valid UK driving licence and consent to DVLA checks (renewed every 6 months).
  • Provide right-to-work evidence via share code.
  • Complete a DBS check where the work involves vulnerable passengers.
  • Maintain hire-and-reward or courier insurance covering commercial goods carriage where using your own vehicle.
  • Fleet Owners must hold a valid Operator's Licence where required by law.

3. Standards of service

  • Arrive within the agreed pickup window and communicate delays.
  • Maintain vehicle roadworthiness (MOT, service, tyres) and daily walk-around checks.
  • Comply with EU/UK drivers' hours and Working Time Directive where applicable.
  • Handle goods with reasonable care; report incidents via the Safety centre within 2 hours.

4. Payments

Job fees are set at booking and shown before you accept. DriveGet deducts its marketplace fee (disclosed in your dashboard) and remits net earnings to your linked payout account. Standard payouts settle within 2 business days; instant payouts are available for a small fee.

5. Ratings, deactivation & appeal

Partners with a rolling rating below 4.4 or repeated safety flags may be temporarily suspended pending review. You have the right to appeal via the Support centre and to a written decision within 10 business days.

6. Data protection

You process personal data of Customers only for the purpose of completing the job. You must not contact Customers off-platform, retain their contact data, or use it for marketing.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement with 7 days' notice, or immediately for material breach. Termination does not affect fees owed for completed jobs or ongoing disputes.

8. Insurance & liability

Where DriveGet arranges hire-and-reward cover for a Fleet Owner's vehicle, the excess is disclosed at booking. Partners are responsible for damage caused by their own negligence up to the applicable excess.

9. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England & Wales.
