Terms of Service

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and DriveGet Ltd (company no. 14829102, registered in England & Wales). By creating an account or using the platform you accept these Terms.

1. Who we are

DriveGet Ltd operates an online marketplace connecting Customers with self-employed Drivers and licensed Fleet Owners. We are not a haulier, an employment agency, or an operator under the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995. Drivers and Fleet Owners contract directly with Customers; DriveGet facilitates matching, payments, and dispute resolution.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 or older and legally resident in the UK.
  • Drivers must hold a valid UK driving licence, appropriate CPC where applicable, and pass our verification checks (DVLA, right-to-work, DBS where required).
  • Fleet Owners must hold a valid Operator's Licence where required and appropriate hire-and-reward insurance.

3. The service

DriveGet provides booking, dispatch, real-time tracking, escrow, invoicing, and dispute-management tooling. Availability of drivers, vehicles, and pricing is dynamic and not guaranteed.

4. Payments & escrow

Customer payments are captured at booking and held in an FCA-safeguarded escrow account operated by our payment partner. Funds are released to the Driver or Fleet Owner once the job is completed and any dispute window has closed. Our marketplace fee is disclosed at checkout.

5. Cancellations & refunds

  • Free cancellation up to 60 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Cancellations within 60 minutes incur a fee equal to 25% of the booking value.
  • No-shows after driver dispatch incur the full booking value.

6. Insurance

Vehicles booked through DriveGet are covered by hire-and-reward insurance arranged with our insurance partner. Coverage details and excess amounts are shown in the booking confirmation. Drivers using their own vehicles must maintain their own commercial insurance.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Transporting hazardous, illegal, or restricted goods without prior written approval.
  • Attempting to contract with drivers off-platform to avoid fees ("platform circumvention").
  • Any conduct that endangers road users, property, or other platform users.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, DriveGet's total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by you to DriveGet in that period.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
