Guide

Turn an idle van into weekly income.

List from £20/hr, keep 85%, and let DriveGet handle verification, escrow and key handover.

What listing involves

Create a fleet profile, enter the registration, and DriveGet pulls the vehicle's MOT status, tax status and specification automatically from DVSA and DVLA records. Add photos, payload, body type and any equipment such as a tail-lift or refrigeration, then set your rate. Vehicles list from £20/hr and you keep 85% of the rental line on every booking. Companies House and VAT details are verified for business fleets so customers can see they are hiring from a real, compliant operator.

Tracking and key handover

Every listed vehicle is booked with GPS tracking on the job and digital key locker handover, so you never have to meet a hirer at a gate or hand over physical keys. You see where the van is for the duration of the booking, and the vehicle is only released to a driver whose licence entitlement, ID and insurance have already been verified.

Getting paid

Customer funds sit in escrow before the booking begins, and your 85% share is released the day after each job is confirmed complete. There is no invoicing, no chasing and no credit risk. Because MOT and tax are re-checked continuously, any lapse automatically delists the vehicle rather than exposing you to an uninsured hire.

Pricing your vehicle

Panel vans sit at the lower end of the range, Lutons with a tail-lift command more, and 7.5t vehicles more again because fewer drivers hold the entitlement to move them. Utilisation matters more than headline rate: a van booked four days a week at a fair price earns far more than one priced optimistically and sitting on the forecourt.

List your van on DriveGet, or if you would rather drive, become a self-employed driver from £12/hr.

List a van in under 10 minutes.

Verification is automatic and there is nothing to pay to join.
