Before the job
When a customer books, the full job value is captured and held in a ring-fenced client account with our safeguarded payments partner. The money is neither the customer's to withdraw nor DriveGet's to spend. Drivers and fleet owners can therefore accept work knowing the funds already exist, which removes the single biggest risk in self-employed logistics.
During the job
Live tracking runs from collection to delivery, and photo proof of delivery is captured at the drop. Those two records are what allow a job to be confirmed without a paper trail or a phone argument.
After the job
Once delivery is confirmed, the driver's 85% share of the driver-rate line — and the fleet owner's 85% of any vehicle rental line — is released the day after the job. The 15% platform fee is deducted at that point and covers escrow, verification, insurance checks, tracking, VAT invoicing, dispute handling and support.
If something goes wrong
If a customer raises a dispute, the relevant portion of the escrow balance is held while our team reviews tracking data, timestamps, photo proof of delivery and messages. Undisputed portions still release on schedule, so one contested item never freezes a whole week's income. Cancellations before dispatch are refunded in full; cancellations after dispatch carry a time-and-mileage charge that is paid to the driver.
Set your own driver rate from £12/hr or list a van from £20/hr — both keep 85%.
